Equipment to use Federal Relay?
|
Federal TRS – a TTY (text
telephone) that is used with a standard telephone and the equipment
will vary on the type of relay service you use (i.e. TeleBraille,
Speech-to-Speech, et cetera);
FedVRS – a web camera connected
to a PC or Videophone and TV with a broadband connection such as
DSL, cable, T-1 or LAN;
FRSO – a PC (desktop or laptop)
connected to the internet via either dial-up or broadband connection;
FedRCC – a PC (desktop or
laptop) connected to the internet via either dial-up or broadband
connection;
Federal CapTel – an analog
telephone line is necessary. If one has a digital line, you would
need to get a converter to change from digital to analog signal.
